Faith in Communities Africa (FICA) partners with communities in Zimbabwe to create opportunities for children and families through education, care, and community development.
We share the love of Jesus as we work alongside the people of Zimbabwe to strengthen communities and build hope for the future. Our work reflects the call of Psalm 82:3: “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.”

Initiatives
Home of Hope Murombedzi: A place to belong. A family to call home.
Home of Hope Murombedzi (HHM) provides a loving, family-centered home for orphaned and vulnerable children. Three family homes, each with dedicated house parents, provide the care, stability, and encouragement every child deserves. Donor support helps meet the children’s daily needs and sustains the house parents and staff who care for them.
Christian School of Hope: Opening doors through education.
Christian School of Hope (CSH) gives children the opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for a brighter future. Through donor-funded scholarships, students receive a quality education grounded in academic excellence and biblical truth.
Hope for the Community: Building skills. Creating opportunity. Strengthening community.
Hope extends beyond our homes and school into the wider Murombedzi community. The Training Center provides space for sewing classes, church services, and community gatherings. Construction training and agricultural programs help people develop practical skills, build livelihoods, and create new opportunities for their families.
Where We Serve
Our work is centered in Murombedzi, a rural community about 90 minutes west of Zimbabwe’s capital city, Harare.
